The final day of EXPCON 2023 wrapped with afternoon breakout sessions featuring the topics of leadership and legacy in the ‘Path to Achievement’ track.
Achieving Success and Building Legacy
Two separate panel discussions featured some of the most powerful female leaders in the industry. First, CEO of SUCCESS Enterprises, Amy Somerville, led a session on building a lasting legacy with SUCCESS’s Editor-in-chief, Kerrie Lee Brown and Digital Marketing Manager, Kelley Bahata.
The second panel led by Texas-based eXp Realty agent, Smita Singh, featured powerhouse female agents Jacqui Bowman, Ige Johnson, and Becky Garcia. They discussed challenges and gave insights on achieving success as female leaders in the real estate industry.
Impacting Generations
Luxury agent Daniel Zia took the stage for an inspiring talk on his mission to create generational impact. Zia listed the five focus areas for integrating generational impact into your business:

- Your Community
- Your Team
- Your Children
- The World
Sharing details of his personal strides to build legacy in these areas, Zia stressed the importance of preserving knowledge. “Document, memorialize, record, and share,” he explained is key in building your impact. He concluded by emphasizing the compounding nature of time and impact, and how many people you have the opportunity to reach.

Florida agent Claudienne Hibbert made a lasting impression to close the ‘Path to Achievement’ track with a presentation on embracing your role(s) in life. Key insights included:

- Continue personal growth and development
- Set meaningful targets and craft personal mission statements
- Develop strategies for overcoming challenges and fostering resilience
- Build and nurture meaningful relationships
- Celebrate your achievements and lessons learned
