Lorre Wilson has two notable connections to her home state of West Virginia. For one, she is the first eXp Realty agent in that state, joining in 2018 and serving as the state’s designated managing broker. For another, she was crowned Miss West Virginia USA and was 4th runner in the Mrs. America pageant – an experience she credits for giving her confidence in life and especially, real estate.

“In 2018 when I received my broker’s license I began receiving calls from other brokerages wanting me to open up a franchise. Their business models did not make sense to me. I was a well-established, successful agent – why would I leave that? (eXp Commercial’s) Stephanie Gilezan called me to tell me about eXp Realty. eXp was looking for a West Virginia broker. The business model opened my eyes to the fact that there is so much more ‘out there’ than just where I was.”

What kind of collaboration have you experienced at eXp?
“The first time I experienced the company collaboration is when Glenn Sanford created a contest on eXp Workplace for listing presentations. Anyone could submit their listing presentation on the Workplace page, and agents could vote. The winner received $5,000.

I was Miss West Virginia USA, competed in the Miss USA pageant and was Mrs. West Virginia American, was 4th runner up to Mrs. America. The experiences changed my life to be confident enough for my real estate career.
