Austin & Denver-based Heyday Group Chooses eXp Realty for Collaboration, Entrepreneurship, Rev Share and Stock

Meredith Alderson and Lisa Harrell, co-founders of The Heyday Group, closed nearly $100 million in sales in 2023 with their team that serves the Austin, Texas and Denver, Colorado metro areas. After almost five years with Compass, they decided to move The Heyday Group to eXp Realty in November 2023.

Meredith leads the Austin area team and Lisa leads the team in Colorado. They worked together at Compass in Austin and became business partners in 2021, leading a small, but powerful team that leverages each other’s strengths, sharing their expertise and mentoring growth-minded agents. They expanded into multiple markets in 2022 with Lisa’s move to Denver. 

The Heyday Group’s $100M in sales volume comprised 187 units. They specialize in single-family homes, condos, luxury properties, and new construction and serve both buyers and sellers.

Meredith Transitioned Into Real Estate From FinTech Career

Real estate is Meredith’s second career.  She spent the first 18 years of her professional journey working in the corporate world – specifically FinTech — in the Bay Area. Her love of architecture and design led her to take the leap from the corporate world in 2013 and she quickly built a successful real estate career. 

Meredith and her husband love to renovate old homes and have remodeled every home they have ever owned, from Kentucky to California to Texas.  They have three children who are very active in sports so they spend a lot of time on the sidelines of courts and fields. They love to travel, explore the outdoors, and take advantage of Austin’s amazing food and live music scene.

Lisa Returns to Her Beloved Home Base in Colorado

Lisa has been in residential real estate since 2003. She loves everything about the business, from investing to remodeling to helping buyers and sellers make their dreams come true. Her real estate journey recently came full circle when she relocated back to her hometown, a suburb of Denver. 

Lisa and her husband just completed the long journey of designing and building their custom home in Morrison and Red Rocks Amphitheater is once again a regular part of Lisa’s life. She enjoys attending concerts, Yoga on the Rocks, hiking, and getting to share the beauty of the Colorado foothills with friends and family. She is now serving on the PTA at her girls’ elementary school and enjoying being an active member of her new community.
