LA’s Karl Markarian Joins eXp Commercial, Bringing Over 30 Years of Expertise and $200M in Sales

eXp Commercial continues to solidify its position as a leader in the commercial real estate industry with the addition of commercial giant Karl Markarian, a seasoned advisor with over 30 years of experience and $200 million in sales volume over the past five years. 

Based in Los Angeles, Karl brings his expertise in multifamily, office, retail, and development properties to eXp, along with a talented team of five commercial advisors and one staff member.

Karl’s career includes over $200 million in commercial asset sales volume in the past five years. His specialization in investment sales spans a diverse range of asset classes, including:

Karl Joining eXp Commercial for Growth and Innovation

Karl’s decision to join eXp Commercial stems from his desire to scale his business and benefit from eXp Commercial’s innovative model.

“I joined for future growth, to scale my business, and to benefit from revenue share and stock opportunities,” Karl explained. 

Influenced by colleagues like eXp Realty agents Rima Rafeh and Leo Robles, Karl spent much of 2024 considering the move and officially joined in January 2025.
