Ben Laube’s Pride for Hometown Orlando and Expansion Into Tampa Bay Fuels His Team’s Success (VIDEO)

Florida belongs to everyone. That’s part of the reason Sunshine State native Ben Laube has become one of Central Florida’s top sellers.
Born in Apopka, Ben was a web developer and expert marketing strategist who turned full-time to real estate in 2018. He wanted to use his client-facing strategies to help people buy and sell homes in his beloved Florida, so he joined eXp Realty, identifying this industry-changed virtual brokerage as where Ben could grow his own brand and team.
It worked. Today, Ben Laube Homes at eXp is made up of 40 agents, five support staffers, selling over $68 million in 2022.

Ben is an expert on everything Orlando and is expanding into Tampa Bay. He liked to sell people on all the great, diverse neighborhoods – not to mention all the restaurants he’s sampled over the years.
“Beyond real estate, I am passionate about the arts, food, and culture within Orlando and Tampa Bay. I often attend art events and look for ways to give back to our community. Currently, I sit on the board of the Downtown Arts District and have always been involved in the local Chamber of Commerce,’’ Ben said.
“When working with relocation customers, I love to show them the real culture and food scene within Central Florida, which helps them pick the neighborhood that best fits their lifestyle,’’ he said.

He Has Joined Forces at the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance
As Pride Month kicks off, Orlando continues to heal from a mass shooting that took the lives of 49 people at the gay nightclub Pulse. With anti-gay measures being pushed by Florida’s governor, it’s no small matter that real estate professionals like Ben are part of The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance.
Launched in June 2020 by leading members of the real estate industry, Ben is part of an influential group of real estate professionals and allies who joined with other members of the LGBTQ+ community to create a new voice in real estate.
It’s an ideal platform and extension of the civil and cultural advocacy that Ben already embraces. Empowering everyone to live their best and fullest lives in Central Florida is what drives him. So does helping his clients buy, sell and invest in real estate in his native Orlando.

When and why did you join eXp?
“eXp Realty stood out to me because the agents have the chance to become shareholders and actively contribute to the company’s financial achievements. The agents can accumulate stock equity based on their performance and contributions. So stock awards and revenue share were the main drivers for me joining eXp.”
Is there a significant experience you can share since you joined eXp?
“Being featured as a panelist on the main stage at the 2023 Shareholder Summit! I couldn’t believe I was offered the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the years. Even though we’re a brokerage of 88,000, I feel like our leadership is accessible and the opportunities for greater success are available to those who show up.”
What is one thing about eXp that surprised you?
“Collaboration. The collaborative network was eye-opening AFTER I joined. I know we talk about it a lot and it’s a core value, but I didn’t feel the difference from my previous brokerage until after I joined and had many agents help me grow in eXp.”
Have you had any experience or success around eXp’s global revenue share and commercial businesses yet?
“I am benefiting from eXp’s revenue share with 52 people in my group. Unfortunately, at the moment I haven’t been able to tap into the global network, but I do have a commercial agent in my downline and we have a great mutually beneficial relationship with referrals back and forth.”
Best tip to share with other agents:
“Most people underestimate the long-term effects of compounding effort. Don’t lose patience as you work toward your goals, because the impact of consistent effort and patience will compound over time.”
