eXp Is The Right Choice For Newly Minted Canadian Agent Joarli Rivas

eXp Realty has shifted its power in the real estate industry by attracting veteran agents leading big-grossing teams all over the world. But eXp is also catching the eye of newcomers like Joarli Rivas.

The Venezuelan native arrived in Canada in 2008 and became a citizen in 2015. With a new career in real estate starting this year in Ontario, Joarli saw that the best place to start was with a virtual brokerage model. She is committed to being part of eXp’s global company, especially since Joarli has traveled the world and still has family and philanthropic connections to her homeland. 

“I chose eXp to be the first and only home so far, and I chose it due to the fact that it is a cloud-based brokerage in over 22 countries. It also offers me the chance to incorporate other skills in the future, like coaching other Realtors, building a community to grow and becoming a shareholder,’’ she said. 

Joarli Switched Careers as a Result of the Pandemic

Prior to entering the real estate industry, Joarli had a wellness coaching company since 2010 for individuals and the well-being for corporations.

“During the pandemic, the dynamic changed a lot in how the economy was moving and how we value products and services, so I moved to a new industry that is always in need.”

At eXp, the level of support and tech services have also made Joarli feel confident she has made the right choice to launch her career with all the right tools. 

“I would tell every agent to use the CRM because it is such an intelligent tool, useful and having a system is the most important piece to manage the business,’’ she said.
