To celebrate International Women’s Day, eXp Realty is proud to announce its partnership with Catalyst, a distinguished global nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing gender equity in the workplace. As a Global Supporter of Catalyst, eXp Realty reaffirms its unwavering commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, extending its innovative practices to foster a workplace culture that champions equal opportunity for all.

“With over 60% of our leadership at director level and above being women, we’re setting a powerful precedent,” said Carolyn Merchant, eXp Realty’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Yet, our journey is far from over. Our commitment extends to fostering even more opportunities for our female professionals. With 76% of our agent and employee resource groups led by women, we’re paving the way for a brighter, more inclusive future—and we’re only getting started.”

With this announcement, eXp Realty has become the first residential real estate company to throw its support behind Catalyst.

Creating Opportunities Through Exclusive Resources

eXp Realty’s role as a Catalyst Supporter opens the door for all eXp agents and employees to leverage Catalyst’s proprietary tools and resources. These offerings are designed to enhance eXp’s ongoing commitment to DEI outcomes, lending support that fosters genuine change within the real estate sector and beyond. 

Men in eXp leadership who are director level and above will also be encouraged to take part in Catalyst’s Men Advocating Real Change (MARC) initiative, underscoring the company’s belief in collaborative efforts that promote gender equity. 

“The creation of inclusive workplaces is achieved not by women alone but by engaging champions of change across our entire employee landscape, including our male allies,” Merchant added.

Spotlight on Gender Equity Initiatives During Women’s History Month

In honor of Women’s History Month, eXp is extending invitations for its staff to engage in pivotal learning and action like the March 26 webinar, “Beyond Zero-Sum: Embracing Gender Equity as a Win-Win Scenario” and other events planned by Catalyst. These programs are a testament to its commitment to a more inclusive and equitable future.

“We recognize the incremental progression of women in real estate with nearly 7 in 10 agents being female, a significant rise over two decades. It’s clear that continued support for women is essential, and eXp Realty is intent on leading this support,” Merchant concluded.
