eXp World Holdings Acquires Canadian Proptech Company Zoocasa

It’s official: Zoocasa Realty Inc. and its key property, Zoocasa.com, are now part of the eXp World Holdings family of companies. 

The acquisition of this award-winning proptech company expands eXp Realty’s online lead generation, home search and listings portal capabilities for its agents and brokers as well as for home buying and selling consumers across North America. (Read the press release here.)

As the transition takes shape, eXp Realty will provide more details on how eXp Canada agents can engage with Zoocasa and participate in utilizing the platform and tools. Looking ahead, eXp will explore expansion opportunities to take Zoocasa’s technology and programs into new markets to reach more agents and customers across North America. In the meantime, agents and consumers can visit the zoocasa.com home search portal or download the mobile app via the iOS App Store or Google Play.

Zoocasa’s next-generation lead scoring and marketing automation platform enables their inside sales team to screen thousands of leads efficiently at scale by utilizing big data scoring, sorting and automation; optimized agent connections; and immediate communication based on lead probability.

Complementing eXp Realty’s emphasis on continuing education, Zoocasa will also provide a 16-week training, coaching and accountability program for new real estate agents.

Zoocasa was previously owned by its CEO Lauren Haw and a group of investors, who purchased Zoocasa.com from Rogers Communications in 2015. Today, the platform has close to 12 million annual visits and 150 in-house real estate agents.
