For Dallas’ Chastin J. Miles, eXp Realty Means Life-Changing Entrepreneurship
Reviewing the production board at the Dallas-based real estate brokerage where he had spent more than four years, Chastin J. Miles was elated to see his sales results from the last quarter. But when he arrived at the office the next day, the production board had been erased.
“They were resetting it for the next year, and it was at that moment that I realized I was on a hamster wheel,” Miles said. “I didn’t feel like I was really building anything besides commission checks. For that reason, I was ready for a change. I knew that eXp was going to be able to provide a lane for that.”
After researching eXp Realty and listening to presentations, Miles joined eXp in May 2019.
“Talking to my sponsor (Tierny Jordan, real estate coach and mentor), it was clear that eXp was entrepreneurial,” Miles said. “We learn so much outside of simply selling homes – whether coaching, training, teaching or helping others. And there were different lanes of revenue. The opportunity to become a leader and truly impact lives within the real estate community is phenomenal.”
For example, at EXPCON 2020, Miles spoke on two panels – “Content is King” and “Modern Team Network Building.” At eXp University in eXp World, Miles taught a “YouTube for Agent Attraction” class that explained how to leverage the power of video to attract top agents.
It is a topic he knows well as the host of a YouTube real estate channel with more than 3.6 million views. He also hosts a podcast, Power Unit Success(cast), and offers coaching for real estate agents who want to level up.
In addition to those opportunities, Miles said he appreciates the convenience of eXp World.
“I was in a situation where I needed something done while at the closing table,” Miles said. “I was able to get it done and handled and didn’t hold up the closing. That would never happen anywhere else.”

Is there a significant experience you can share since you joined eXp?
“My significant experience came when I attended my first eXp event that was held in Las Vegas by Brent Gove. At this event, I saw so many happy people, which was kind of different for me, being in the real estate industry for so long. Everyone was happy to help, happy to share and just overall happy. It was one of the most welcoming environments I had ever been in. The culture of eXp agents was really apparent and I was instantly attracted to it.”
What is one thing about eXp that surprised you?
“The collaboration that takes place within eXp. With eXp being a cloud-based brokerage, I was surprised to see just how close-knit things are. Coming into eXp, I didn’t think I’d know anyone, let alone meet people face to face.”
Have you had any experience or success around eXp’s global revenue share and commercial businesses?
“I have had much success with the global revenue share. I think it’s amazing. There’s no other opportunity like this in the world that allows us to break borders and help people all across the world.”

“For collaboration, I’ve experienced attending eXp events, teaching in eXp World and forming mastermind groups with agents across the country.”
