Montreal’s Sophie Patera Closes Her Indie and Brings 12 Agents to eXp Realty Canada

Another one of Canada’s top independent brokers has traded the hassle of carrying overhead costs for the future of real estate. Montreal-based Sophie Patera has moved to eXp Realty Canada.

The high-producing Quebec broker has closed on $38 million (CAD) in sales so far in 2023. She brings 12 agents and two full-time assistants with her as the move to eXp Realty Canada became official in December. 

“It didn’t take much to understand that this was perfect for us. We ‘packed’ our stuff and we’re ready to jump on the train with eXp Realty,’’ Sophie said.

One of the greatest advantages of eXp Realty Canada, Sophie said, was the freedom it gives her to continue being an effective agent in the field and in guiding her team. 

“That is where my heart belongs. eXp Realty was the perfect hybrid mode for us, keeping the team/family together and being able to do business myself while delegating all the back office of having an agency,’’ she said.

Quebec superstar broker Mathieu Arseneault was the one to introduce Sophie to eXp Realty Canada.

“He showed us the programs and what it would mean for us and already it has been amazing! The support and communication is already beyond my expectation,’’ she said.

Une autre des principales courtières indépendantes du Canada a échangé les tracas liés aux coûts fixes pour l’avenir de l’immobilier. Sophie Patera, basée à Montréal, a rejoint eXp Realty Canada.

La courtière québécoise à la production élevée a conclu des ventes totalisant 38 millions de dollars canadiens jusqu’à présent en 2023. Elle amène avec elle 12 courtiers et deux assistants à temps plein, la transition vers eXp Realty Canada devenant officielle en décembre.

“Il n’a pas fallu beaucoup de temps pour comprendre que c’était parfait pour nous. Nous avons ’empaqueté’ nos affaires et nous sommes prêts à monter à bord du train avec eXp Realty”, a déclaré Sophie.

L’un des plus grands avantages d’eXp Realty Canada, selon Sophie, est la liberté qu’elle lui donne pour continuer à être une courtière efficace sur le terrain et à guider son équipe.

“C’est là que réside mon cœur. eXp Realty était le mode hybride parfait pour nous, permettant de maintenir l’unité de l’équipe/famille et de pouvoir faire des affaires moi-même tout en déléguant tout l’aspect administratif d’une agence”, a-t-elle déclaré.

Le courtier québécois superstar Mathieu Arseneault a été celui qui a présenté Sophie à eXp Realty Canada.

“Il nous a présenté les programmes et ce que cela signifierait pour nous, et déjà, c’est incroyable ! Le soutien et la communication vont déjà au-delà de mes attentes”, a-t-elle déclaré.
