Sarasota’s Living Vogue Real Estate Independent Moves 50 Agents, $150M In Sales to eXp Realty

Big moves are happening in Sarasota’s luxury real estate scene. Living Vogue Real Estate, the stylish and high-energy brokerage founded by Mark Coppens and Matt Hickey, has officially joined eXp Realty, bringing 50 agents on the heels of a whopping $150 million in annual sales in 2024. From Boutique Powerhouse to eXp Realty

Mark and his wife, Jamie, started the brokerage in 2019 and it quickly exploded into one of Sarasota’s hottest boutique real estate firms. Living Vogue’s edgy, modern approach to marketing – and a showroom-style office right on Main Street – attracted top-tier agents and clients alike. But as the company grew, so did the demands of running a brokerage.

“We loved what we built, but the behind-the-scenes grind was getting overwhelming,” said Mark, Chairman and Founder of Living Vogue. “We were spending more time managing operations than actually selling homes. Partnering with eXp lets us offload the admin headaches and focus on what we do best  – selling and mentoring.”

A Brokerage That Gets It

It wasn’t just about offloading paperwork, though. Mark and Matt were looking for a brokerage that understood their vibe, their vision, and their need for autonomy.

Sarasota is no stranger to high-end real estate, and Living Vogue has been right in the thick of it. Coppens’ $15 million sale last year was just one example of the level they operate at. With their transition to eXp, they’re now part of eXp Luxury, a division built specifically for elite agents and high-net-worth clientele.

“We’ve always had a luxury aesthetic, but we sell across all price points and do all kinds of deals – like even a $10,000 parcel of land,” said Mark. “The way we market and present ourselves naturally appeals to luxury buyers and sellers and eXp Luxury gives us even more tools to amplify that.”

One of the biggest concerns for Mark and Matt was maintaining the unique culture and brand they’ve built. Their Main Street office  – often mistaken for a lounge or a high-end boutique  – is a huge part of that.

“When people walk into our space, they don’t immediately think ‘real estate office,’” Mark said. “That curiosity sparks conversations, and conversations turn into relationships. We weren’t willing to give that up, and eXp made it clear that we didn’t have to.”
