Texas Designated Managing Broker Tony King Says He Had ‘eXp Insomnia’ and Needed to Be Part of It

Tony King felt the energy of eXp Realty even before he joined the brokerage in October 2021. While he’s been in the real estate business for over 17 years, he always felt the other brokerages were success-obsessed, but not as helpful to their agents.

“The eXp staff is completely focused on different ways to help our agents succeed,” he said.

In fact, Tony refers to his excitement as “eXp insomnia.”

“When I found out about what eXp was doing with different income streams, and the model was explained to me for the first time, I couldn’t sleep until I became a part of it!”

He thinks that everyone, from the leadership and brokers to the top producers and ICON agents and even new agents, are a special breed of entrepreneurs.

“We’re all owners, and with that comes a certain degree of ownership, mentality and caring, in which we want to see one another and the overall company succeed.”

He also cited the collaborative nature of the eXp Realty culture.

“Every leader and top producer is so humble, and willing to help each other out.”

King has gone full steam ahead in the past few months, and is looking forward to the continued growth in the state of Texas, where he serves as a designated broker.

“We’ll have north of 10,000 agents in Texas by the end of the year, and we’re not slowing down in this shifting economy!”
