She Built an $80M Brokerage — Then Chose eXp to Build More

After 13 successful years leading her own brokerage in Lubbock, Texas, Amy Tapp wasn’t looking for a change until she realized she wanted more for her clients and team.

More collaboration. More cutting-edge tech. More support. More time to do what she loves most: lead her people and serve her clients.

This summer, Amy made the bold move to join eXp Realty  and she brought a powerhouse team with her: 45 professionals, including 40 agents and 5 staff members, who together closed $80 million in 2024 alone,  across 350 transactions.

“I instantly felt like this was a divine appointment.”

The Spark That Changed Everything

Amy’s path to eXp began, fittingly, at a leadership event, where a simple invitation from her friend and fellow real estate powerhouse, Audra Baldwin, became the catalyst for everything to change.

“I met Parker Pemberton, Blake Suddath, Emily Kolb, and Leo Pareja,” Amy says. “And I instantly felt like this was a divine appointment. These were the kind of leaders I wanted to be in business with and learn from.”

By the end of the event, she was all in. “I just knew. This was where we were meant to be.”

A New Chapter with Deep Roots

Amy is no stranger to building something meaningful. Since 2001, she’s grown her career through tenures with Keller Williams, RE/MAX, and finally her own indie brokerage, Amy Tapp Realty, which she launched in 2012.

Her team’s expertise spans residential, luxury homes, land, and investment properties. They’ve built a strong presence in Lubbock  and now, they’re plugging into the unmatched resources of eXp to scale even higher.

Why eXp? It’s About Freedom and Focus

“While I’ve loved leading our team, I knew it was time to take some of the backend brokerage responsibilities off my plate so I could focus more on what I love,” Amy says.

eXp’s model checked all the boxes. From its cloud-based tools to national-level collaboration and brokerage support, Amy saw a clear path forward: “eXp offers a level of resources, technology, and collaboration that simply isn’t possible with an indie model. I wanted more for my people  and this was it.”

Welcome to eXp, Amy Tapp and Team!

We’re thrilled to have Amy and her incredible group of professionals join  eXp. Their energy, track record, and passion for people are a perfect match for our culture of collaboration and innovation.

Here’s to more collaboration, more cutting-edge tech, more support and more time to lead your team and serve your clients.
