What is eXp Latino? Think Familia, Flavor and the Future of Real Estate

If you’ve ever been to an eXp Latino event, you know the vibe. The energy is high, the conversations are purposeful, and the connections are real. It feels less like a corporate mixer and more like a cousin’s cookout where, surprise, everyone also happens to be crushing it in real estate.

The Latino community is shaping the future of real estate, and eXp Latino is right at the center of that momentum. It’s where culture meets opportunity, where agents come together to grow their businesses, create legacies, and make a lasting impact.

So, what exactly is eXp Latino? Glad you asked.

eXp Latino is where culture and business link arms. It’s the heartbeat of the Latino community inside eXp Realty. It exists to empower and elevate Latino agents by celebrating culture, building community, and creating opportunities for growth, wealth and legacy. At its core, it’s about making sure every Latino agent knows they belong, can grow, and can build something lasting for their families. Or as founding board member Rebecca Soto puts it, it’s about

“breaking generational ceilings and showing that with the right support, Latinos can build legacies in real estate and beyond.”

What Makes eXp Latino Special

This isn’t your average networking group. eXp Latino has its own flavor, built around four big promises:

Culture at the Core – Your language, your heritage, your story. They aren’t side notes. They’re strengths.

Familia-Driven Support – Think collaboration over competition. Everyone eats when we share the table.

Global Reach with Local Heart – Agents linking up globally, while still rooted in their own communities.

Pathway to Wealth and Legacy – Because it’s not just about this month’s closings, it’s about changing the game for future generations.

What It Feels Like to Belong

When you ask members what eXp Latino feels like, the answer is always the same: it feels like home. Rosie Rodriguez, founding board member and global chair describes it best:

“It feels like gathering with your primas and primos at the carne asada. Once you experience our community, it feels like home. We all share common stories, culture and traditions. It really gives our Latino community a place to celebrate and collaborate, with a little Latin flavor.”

That sense of family shows up in everything the community does. In the Slack channel, agents jump in to share referrals or answer questions without hesitation. During Movimiento Masterminds, agents swap both strategies and encouragement. At local events, the atmosphere is equal parts professional development and family reunion. The message is clear: you don’t have to do this business alone.

Why this Matters

The Latino community is not just participating in the housing market, it is driving it. Rosie Rodriguez points out a stat that should make everyone pay attention:

“What many people do not know is that the growth of the housing industry will be led by Latino homeownership.”

That reality makes the work of eXp Latino critical. The community is focused on making sure agents are ready to meet that demand while building stronger businesses of their own. As Rosie explains,“leadership means opening doors and creating connections for our members nationally and internationally.”

It is a responsibility the group takes seriously. Josey M. Baez emphasizes that the focus is always on creating access and support:

“The responsibility is to open doors, connect, inspire, instill confidence, and show that we can build generational wealth for our families in this industry. It means showing our agents how to build bigger businesses through education and opportunity.”

Rachel Nead, one of eXp’s earliest agents turned staff leader, highlights how the community reflects the company’s values at large:

“eXp Latino is more than a community; it’s family. It’s where culture, collaboration, and innovation meet, and it proves that our diversity is our strength. We’re not just building businesses, we’re building bridges across borders.”

Together, these perspectives highlight why eXp Latino is more than a community. It is a movement designed to meet the future of real estate head on while helping agents grow and lead with confidence.

The Road Ahead

Big things are already cooking. Think monthly Movimiento Masterminds, more regional events, and new Spanish-language training tracks with eXp University. And of course, the return of FastCap en Español.

In the next five years, leaders see eXp Latino growing into the most influential Latino real estate community worldwide. Thousands of agents, empowered and equipped, building wealth and legacies that will outlast any market cycle.

Or as Rebecca Soto says: “Together we are stronger. Somos un Movimiento.”

Top 3 Reasons You’ll Want In

  1. Familia First – Because no one should build their business alone.
  2. Wealth and Legacy – This is about changing your family tree, not just your production numbers.
  3. Strength in Numbers – A powerful network that stretches across the U.S. and the globe.

How to Get Involved

Joining eXp Latino is simple. Any eXp agent who wants to connect can raise their hand and become part of the familia. The best place to start is by applying to be an Ambassador, which plugs you directly into the Slack channel, masterminds, and event updates. From there, it’s all about showing up, contributing, and making the most of the opportunities this community creates.

So the only question left is… why wait?
